Can I upload all my products in one batch?
If you have several products to add to your Enstack store, you do not need to do it one-by-one anymore.
With Mass Upload, you can upload all your products and photos at once, requiring just two files:
A correctly filled out product upload template which can be downloaded from the app, and
A .zip folder containing all the related product images to be uploaded
Navigating to Mass Upload
Follow these steps to go to the Mass Upload section of the app.
Downloading and using the template
To upload many products, make sure to download the template and fill it out completely and correctly.
Make sure that all the information is correctly filled out for your products to successfully be created with correct details. To understand each field better, read through the table and download the sample file below for examples.
Important Guidelines for populating the template
When uploading products with multiple variations (the Category and Product Name must be copy-pasted across all variation rows)
Follow the required format and constraints to avoid submission failure (i.e. placing letters in the price field, or applying a sale price greater than the normal price)
Image filenames can be pasted once per parent product. If it is repeated across multiple variations, duplicates will appear in the product details.
Make sure the filenames are exactly pasted, including the filetype.
Save the template as a .csv file (not as .xls or .xlsx)
Compressing your product images in a .zip folder
To upload product images, you need to put all images in a zip folder. Follow these steps to compress images into a single .zip folder to upload.
Uploading a Submission
Uploading a submission just requires you to upload the filled out product template and, if including photos, the compressed .zip folder containing all the product images. Simply follow the steps below.
Statuses of your Uploads
You can view the status of each of your submissions: Processing, Completed, and Failed.
Processing
Processing is the status you can see while your phone is still checking your product upload template and images for correctness. This may be quick or may take some time depending on the number of products and variations as well as the size of the images contained in your .zip folder.
Completed
Completed is the status for when your submission has been accepted and the products successfully created. Tapping on your submission will show you a summary of the respective products that were created.
Failed
When, during processing, Enstack encounters an error in your submission, the entire submission is rejected and tagged as Failed. Tapping on the submission will show you which rows and fields are erroneous so that you can quickly correct it.
To correct the submission, simply make revisions to your files and submit them again for processing.
