What is Standard Shipping Saver?

Hey Enstack Sellers! We’ve heard you—buyers want more affordable shipping, and we’re excited to make that happen. Starting March 1, 2025, we’re launching Standard Shipping Saver to help you offer lower shipping rates and attract more buyers to your store.

This update will automatically replace your current Standard Shipping fees with more affordable rates for your buyers. In line with other platforms, there will be a 4.5% fee (capped at Php200 per order) applied to all Standard Shipping orders, charged upon withdrawal, to ensure seamless and reliable deliveries.

1. What is Standard Shipping Saver?
Standard Shipping Saver is our new setup that gives your buyers lower shipping fees for all Standard Shipping orders, helping you attract more orders. To keep the quality of service your business deserves, a 4.5% fee (capped at Php200 per order) will apply to all Standard Shipping transactions charged at the point of withdrawal to ensure you get the best service and seamless, reliable deliveries.

2. When does the Standard Shipping Saver take effect?
Standard Shipping Saver will take effect on March 1, 2025. From then on, your buyers will automatically enjoy lower shipping rates for all Standard Shipping deliveries. To maintain the same level of quality service, a 4.5% fee (capped at Php200 per order) will be charged for all orders shipped via Standard Shipping starting March 1. 

3. Is this considered a commission fee?
The Standard Shipping Saver fee is not a commission fee. It is a fee applied to all Standard Shipping orders to maintain the best level of quality and service for your business while lowering shipping rates for your buyers.

4. How does the 4.5% fee work?
The 4.5% fee applies only to delivered Standard Shipping orders. It’s calculated based on the net item price (subtotal after applying vouchers and discounts) and deducted at the point of withdrawal. This helps ensure smooth, reliable deliveries while keeping shipping fees low for your buyers. If the 4.5% fee exceeds Php200 for a specific order, only Php200 will be charged at remittance.

5. How will this affect my existing shipping rates?
You can expect the existing shipping rates to be lower once Standard Shipping Saver is implemented. 

6. How will Standard Shipping Saver benefit my business?
Lower shipping rates from Standard Shipping Saver can drive more checkouts and make your store more competitive. It’s also the perfect opportunity to shift buyers from other platforms to your Enstack Store, where you have full control over your store.

7. What happens if a buyer selects Standard Shipping at checkout?
If a buyer selects Standard Shipping, they’ll automatically benefit from a lower shipping rate. 

8. Will I need to do anything to activate Standard Shipping Saver?
No, starting March 1, 2025, the Standard Shipping Saver rate will automatically apply to your Enstack Store.

9. What if I don’t want to offer Standard Shipping Saver?
To ensure top-quality service for all, Standard Shipping Saver will apply to all the current Standard Shipping orders. However, you can choose to offer alternative shipping methods such as Same-Day Shipping or Own Shipping, which will not be under Standard Shipping Saver.

10. Can Standard Shipping Saver be applied to specific orders only, instead of all orders?
Standard Shipping Saver applies to all orders shipped via Standard Shipping. However, orders shipped via Same-Day Shipping or Own Shipping will not be affected by the 4.5% fee.

11. Can I offer additional promotions or discounts alongside Standard Shipping Saver?
Yes! You can still offer product promotions, discounts, or even free shipping in addition to Standard Shipping Saver. These promotions can help make your store even more attractive to buyers.

12. Will the 4.5% fee be applied to all my orders?
No, only orders delivered through Standard Shipping will incur a 4.5% fee (capped at Php200 per order) at the point of withdrawal. 

13. Can the 4.5% fee be passed on to my buyers?
Currently, the 4.5% fee is charged to the merchant at the point of withdrawal. There is no option to transfer this fee to buyers.
